Alcohol may not be sold or supplied to anyone under the age of 18.

By purchasing wine through this website, the customer confirms that they are at least 18 years old and legally permitted to purchase alcohol.

Luddite Wines and its delivery providers reserve the right to request satisfactory proof of age before completing a sale or handing over an order.

6. Prices and VAT

All prices displayed on the website include VAT where VAT is applicable to South African sales, unless otherwise stated.

9. Delivery and Collection

Customers may select from the following fulfilment methods, where available:

  • Home delivery within the Republic of South Africa; or
  • Collection from Luddite Wines.

Orders placed through the Luddite Wines online store are delivered within South Africa unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Delivery Charges

Standard delivery within South Africa is charged as follows:

  • R200 for the first two cases; and
  • R100 for each additional case thereafter.

Magnum bottles supplied in individual wooden boxes are each classified as one case for delivery-cost purposes.

Delivery charges may be reviewed or amended from time to time. The applicable delivery cost will be displayed or communicated before the customer completes the transaction.

Additional charges may apply to remote or difficult-to-access delivery locations. Where applicable, these charges will be communicated to the customer before dispatch.

11. Returns and Refunds

Returns, damaged products, incorrect orders, cancellations and refunds are governed by the Luddite Wines Refunds and Returns Policy.
